Senior Pastor Kahala Knopp

Kahala was born and raised on Kauai and has been a member of Lighthouse Christian Fellowship for almost 30 years.

She trained under the late Pastor John and ministered with him extensively until assuming the role of Senior Pastor in 2022.

Pastor Kahala has been married to Ron Knopp, the late Pastor John’s son, since 2000.

Together, they own and operate a successful construction company.

She is an NRA Certified Firearms Instructor and enjoys training others, with a specific passion for empowering women.

Ron is the “go to” guy for all things technical - lighting, sound, equipment. If it’s broken, he can fix it!

He’s been serving in this position for almost 40 years, providing technical expertise for tent meetings, events and various church functions.

Ron loves traveling(especially to Alaska), anything with a motor, and being an NRA Certified Firearms Instructor.

Kapeka was born and raised on Kauai and has been a member of Lighthouse Christian Fellowship for over 28 years.

Kapeka currently serves as Assistant Pastor, and her teachings are known for being practical and relatable.

She is also the full-time manager of a retail store in Hanalei, where she has worked for over 20 years.

In her spare time, you can find her hiking or paddle-boarding with the world’s cutest dog - her Australia Shepherd, Blue.

Shannon was married to Pastor John for 30 years until he went home to be with the Lord in 2022.

She oversees the administrative functions of the church.

She is also a member of the Praise and Worship team.

Shannon currently hosts visiting speakers in her home.

She’s known for her chef-worthy desserts and has the gift of hospitality, making sure everyone is fed, happy and cared for.
